DIY - Color Blocking Nail Art - Taping

Hey!!! Here's another DIY Nail Art for you!!!

For this DIY, you need:

2 turquoise nail polishes - one darker than the other
sparkly turquoise nail polish
tape

First, you need to paint a base coat of the lighter turquoise.  If it is super light like mine, it will probably need 2-3 coats.

For this next step, it is super important that the base coat is COMPLETELY dry.  If it's not, the tape will rip off the polish.
When the base coat is dry, put a piece of tape down the middle of each nail, covering 1/2 of it.

Paint the uncovered side with your darker turquoise.  If it is not to dark and not to light, it should create the effect of light shining on one side of your nail after you peel the tape off.  Make sure and peel off the tape before the darker color is completely dry, or it will stick.

Last, add the sparkle polish to your ring finger as an accent nail.  If you want to dress them up a little more, add the sparkles to all your nails or you can add rhinestones!

Hope you enjoyed this DIY!!!  More coming soon!!!
