Fall Break Day 3 - Re-doing the Corner of my Room

Hey guys!  Sorry I did not get this posted yesterday, I was up late cleaning and had to go to bed ;)  Anyway, today (or actually, it was yesterday) I re-did the corner of my room.  My room is set up where there is a big part, then a little corner part, which I am talking about.  In this corner part is where my dresser and jewelry is.

Before - Drawers are open, and random stuff is on the floor in front of it.  I also have a habit of neatly stacking stuff on top (I promise it's neat!) but it kinda gets in the way.

After - Drawers are shut (and I re-did the inside of 'em too!), floor is cleaned up, and I un-stacked (is that a word?) the top.  What you see on top now is just picture frames.  I have a lot of pictures ;)

Fall Break Day 2 - Re-doing my nails

Well... it looks like today's project was re-doing my nails... just kidding.  I forgot I had an online class and tonight I have to do some stuff sooo... I started another project this morning but will finish it tomorrow.  For now, on to pumpkin/fall nail art!

Supplies:
- Nail Polish;
Yellow
Orange
Green
Brown or Gold
- Nail
- Toothpick

First, paint your nails yellow.  This is your base coat and will show up a lot so you might want to do 2-3 coats.

Next, paint orange tips on ALL BUT YOUR RING FINGER.  Option #2 - Paint a base coat of white, then tape off the top 1/3 and paint the bottom orange, then tape off the top 2/3 and paint the tip white - Candy corn!  If you do go with this option though, keep your ring finger blank yellow/white.

On your ring finger, paint the tip green.  

*The rest of the time you will only be working on your ring finger*  Next, using a nail dipped in orange polish, use small dots to make a larger circle shape on your nail, making it look like it is "sitting" on the green, which is your "grass".

Now, using your brown or gold, paint a "stem" on your pumpkin and add highlights to the pumpkin part when it is dry.

Fall Break Day 1 - Re-doing my Closet!

So since I'm on Fall Break this week, I'm going to try to do a different "before and after" project each day.  I don't know if that will actually happen (lol) but here's todays project: re-doing my closet! (and I promise I have not edited these any! ;D)

Before - Front view.  You can mostly see the stuff all over the floor.

Before - Left side view.  Still just mostly the stuff on the floor.  I don't use the shelf above it on this side much...

Before - Right side view.  The floor and the shelf above it.  That shelf is where I keep most of my bags.

After - Front view.  No stuff on the floor, I added a shelf and scarf rack, and I re-did my name at the top! ;)

After - Left side view.  No stuff on the floor, no stuff on the floor, and no stuf-- just kidding, I took all the clothes out and put them back in a different order... I don't know why...

After - Right side view.  No stuff on the floor (what is this, the fifth time I've said that? ;D) and I cleaned up the shelf above it... I also got rid of some belts that didn't fit and put my summer clothes over there (it was just winter clothes on the other side).

And that's what I did all of day 1 during my Fall Break!  Maybe tomorrow's project will just be re-doing my nails ;)  Just kidding, I think I'm either going to clean up my crafting room or re-do the corner of my room with my dresser and jewelry.  I may throw in a nail makeover too ;)  Come back soon!
